Scale and Age: the oak stump, while over 4 feet in diameter across its wider portion, is a mere 140-150 years old. Compare that to the reclaimed southern yellow pine beam, which as a tree was over 220 years old when felled, and yet only 16" in diameter. Both, in the afterlife, have met their maker. Mucho gusto!
