We met this client when he took a class at Bien Hecho Academy, and when he decided to buy this penthouse on the Bowery, he requested that we design and fabricate his kitchen, vanities and a grand boxed bookcase in Tamo veneers. The catch? Make the bookcase slide to reveal a hidden closet, and oh, I’d rather not see my tv when I’m not watching it. The result was a feat of engineering that granted his wish. Upon moving in, the client was able to finally use his solid walnut dining table, pictured here, that he had diligently completed at Bien Hecho Academy.
