This 2011 development was the first new construction condominium in the US for renowned architect Shigeru Ban. Bien Hecho was commissioned to fabricate the penthouse’s kitchen, vanities, wet bar, various built-ins and shelving. The tight tolerances and continuous lines made for a finished space that was both striking yet subtle. Long narrow panels were fit to span multiple units to eliminate visible vertical seams and fully integrated pulls made this entire project virtually hardware free.
